on the borders of Michigan's woodlands,
watercolorist Jill Fonner finds abundant inspiration for her award winning watercolors. Known for deep values and fine detail, Jill has been an artist for more than 25 years choosing to paint from direct experience the essence of the natural world. |

| Jill's
work has been accepted in numerous juried fine art competitions including
Michigan Water Color Society (MWCS), and National Watercolor Society (NWS)
shows. U.S. Art magazine included Jill in the August 2000 issue featuring
25 artists. Her work has been seen in ARTtrends,
U.S. Art,
and InformArt
magazines, and Women in the Arts magazine from
The National Museum of Women in the Arts.
Whisper, was selected as "Editor's Choice" in U.S. Art's, March 2000 issue. In 2003, two articles appeared about Jill in InformArt magazine (See the Fall 2003 issue on Woodland Art by Tyler W. Chartier.). In June 2006 her work was included in a presentation by Art-Exchange.com at the Neo-Con World Trade Show at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. |
